Dr. James R. Guinn

Dr. Guinn is the President of RRG Consulting. He received his bachelor’s degree in Business Management and his Masters in Conflict Resolution from Abilene Christian University in four years. He completed his doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Abilene Christian University.

 

As a mediator, Mr. Guinn has conducted hundreds of successful mediations involving family disputes and civil disputes and is currently on the board of the Texas Association of Mediators. He has conducted conflict resolution trainings for HR staffs, sales staffs, and customer service staffs for Fortune 500 companies, as well as school districts, churches, and sports organizations.

 

Mr. Guinn does pro bono work for the Brazos Valley Dispute Resolution Center in Brazos County, which is a nonprofit mediation center that is supported by the local courts.

 

Mr. Guinn is an Assistant Instructional Professor of Sports Leadership for Texas A&M University and is currently involved in oil and gas investments and operations for Guinn Investments Inc. He also handles trust management duties for three separate trusts.

Aron Hutchins

Aron D. Hutchins is an attorney in College Station practicing throughout the Brazos Valley. Aron practices criminal law and various civil litigation.  He received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and law degree from South Texas College of Law Houston.​ While in law school Aron clerked for the Honorable Judge Debra Ibarra Mayfield who is now the presiding Judge of the 190th Judicial Court in Harris County. Aron also clerked for a boutique firm with offices in Houston and Austin specializing in eminent domain work. Aron attended the Academy of the Advocate, Advanced School of Trial in St. Andrews, Scotland. During his final year of law school, Aron won the National Civil Rights Trial Competition hosted in New York and was later awarded with the Order of Barristers, which is given to each law school’s top advocates.​ Aron moved back to Bryan/College Station to work for Banks & Banks Attorneys at Law, P.C. as an associate attorney practicing various types of law before leaving to start Hutchins Law, P.C. He has tried both criminal and civil cases. Aron has represented defendants in felony, misdemeanor, and juvenile cases. He has also tried divorces, child custody cases, and termination of parental rights cases. His various civil practice includes personal injury, real estate, estate planning and various other civil suits where he has represented both plaintiffs and defendants.

Aron understands litigation and understands the importance and necessity of quality mediation, which is why he joined RRG Consulting​. Aron is a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, Brazos County Bar Association, and Texas Young Lawyers Association, and Texas Association of Mediators.

Tori Ellis

Tori Ellis is the Director of Mediation for RRG. She is a distinguished-credentialed mediator with a diverse background including agriculture, small business ownership, finance, and non-profit management. She is certified in civil, family, and child protective services mediation. Tori has been a small business owner in the construction industry for the past five years, successfully running a women-owned business in a male-dominated field. Prior to owning her own business, Tori spent eight years in the finance industry focusing on banking, lending, and insurance and two years as Director of Internal Operations for the Abelson Group. Tori recently served as the Executive Director for the Brazos Valley Dispute Resolution Center for three years and brings this unique non-profit perspective with her. She still volunteers at the Center as often as possible. Tori served as a CASA volunteer for two years before starting CPS mediation and continues to support their endeavors. She is very active in her local church administration and serves as a mediator and facilitator for the church community.

 

Tori is on the Board of the Texas Mediation Trainers Roundtable, a credentialed member of the Texas Mediators Credentialing Association, and a member of Texas Association of Mediators. 

John M. Duncum, MAI, CRE, FRICS

Mr. Duncum is currently involved in private business enterprises including real estate, agriculture, and retailing, including ownership of two Toyota dealerships. He was formerly a Principal in Ernst & Young’s real estate and business consulting group. He has been involved in real estate valuation and consulting for over 35 years. As a mediator, he has completed many successful mediation engagements in civil and family matters, qualified as a family law mediator. He is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Brazos County, Texas Dispute Resolution Center, a non-profit facility for mediation supported by the local courts, government agencies, and private donors. 

Mr. Duncum has served as an adjunct professor in the College of Business at Abilene Christian University and the Lowrey Mays College of Business at Texas A&M University. He is regularly invited to speak in a variety of venues. 

Mr. Duncum holds a BS degree from Abilene Christian University, an MED degree from Sam Houston State University, and an MA in Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation from Abilene Christian University.
